Got it. I do have the after-market larger aluminum tubing for my bimini. I will watch for the noise you are describing. The noise on my boat is is definitely coming from mid-forward port side.

I have a 2007 340 Sundancer with the same loud cracking noise that comes across the port side dashboard. It is disturbing and not normal. Has anyone figured this out yet?
