MM.....I have the same remote but bought it under the iRock name before they too were discontinued. My button covers have stuck a couple of times over three years but not to the point of becoming an issue. Cool little device.
For the money, I think the Polk line offer excellent value and sound great. That being said, I went with 4 pair of JL Audio 7.7s plus a JL sub in the cockpit and went from sounding great to impressive. The return on the substantial price difference is personnal preference.

I installed it under the helm seat but on the end facing the port side. It sounds great and I prefer the location over the stock one under the captain's butt, but both do the job.
