Has anyone purchased a full cover for their 260? Looking for an additional layer of protection when it’s sitting in the slip while we are away. The spider poop is just too much to deal with.

got it in and good to go. Only problem I ran into was one of the drain lines was really hard to go on one of the fittings. After hearing it up for a minute I was able to get it to slide on.

Do you spray inside the boat?

Oh yes, it is definitely a problem here as well. Some marinas are worse than others. Where I am now doesn’t seem to be as bad but it’s still an issue. I haven’t seen anyone putting the nets up but if the issue becomes bad enough for me I will be putting them up for sure.

Roughly how much room did you have between the rear of the bar and the water/back of the boat? I may have the deck built out more that 8’.

Yes it is a covered 50’ slip. There currently is not much personal space because the boat backs in right up to the main walkway on the dock. I’m working on a deck that will extend out 8’ or to the first set of vertical beams. That should give us an area of roughly 18’ wide and 10’ deep. I’ll...

We are looking for some ideas for a bar, food prep area, fridge/wine cooler, and a sink. Definitely some additional storage and comfy seating.

Good to know I’ll add that detail to my profile. There are not any restrictions per day but there is a policy that If it’s “attached” it becomes property of the marina if/when you leave.

I think we are going to start with some patio furniture and a dock box and go from there. The startup cost is insane to do it all. Also finding the time is hard, who wants to be constantly working on the slip instead of enjoying the boat? I’d hire some of it out but finding anyone to do it seems...

Very cool!!! The night pic is awesome. Our marina has a policy that if you build on it becomes property of the marina when you leave so I get that. We will probably only be adding items we can take with us because we eventually plan to move to another slip in a more desirable area of the marina...
