Looking for advice on battery charger placement on my 215 EC. I would like to place it in the engine compartment, on the bulkhead forward of the engine if possible. The charger says I need 8" of clearance around the entire unit...I dont have that kind of real estate anywhere on the entire boat!

I have a 215 EC....the radio is mounted over the sink and its completely enclosed(no access to the rear panel without pulling the unit from the housing). I ordered the Clarion brackets needed to pull the radio, i will check for those inline fuses. There has gotta be one behind the unit blown...

I did some research and maybe I need these removal brackets to pull the unit from the mounting bracket????

I cannot upload an image...I just get a red exclamation point. The water pump is mounted right to the holding tank, with a tube running to the faucet in the berth. I could buy a pump as suggested, run a line from the tank to the pump and up to the faucet.

Do you also have a 215 EC ? The existing water pump looks like its mounted right to the holding tank.
