thanks for that! i looked at the lines and connections and all seems ok visually, so if if the coils are cracked raw water would leak directly into the bilge im assuming. the amount of water was incredible! (3" deep in both bilge compartments) so it sounds more than likely this is raw water...

ok i just confirmed that water lines are coming from the AC unit under the V berth. one is the overflow that plumbs in to the plastic box/drain from the shower that contains a small pump with float switch. the other line goes from the compressor to a pump in the engine bay that is also connected...
