Our marina recently replaced our AC unit and removed the factory installed sea scoop stating it was more of a problem than a help and if any thing got sucked up it would go in strainer. However, I spoke with Dometic and they highly recommend a speed scoop and a strainer.
I was wondering what...
We had the same problem last year with our 96 300 da. It turned out we had a leak in a freshwater line near the waste tank! The water would build up in the 3" x 5" boxed depression opposite the hw tank and seep into the cabin. We originally thought it was the freshwater tank also but after...
I think it is a great idea, is their a way to maybe put it up from the inside with small white velcro dots?? This way you dont have to worry about the weather and you dont have to climb outside. Great idea thou - what material did you use??
Thanks for the opportunity Jim but we had a change of plans. For all who are interested, I did allot of research and this is a good deal, take it while you can....

I have a 1996 with small children so I would have some comfort in a tow service but I am sort of a newbie to boating so I am not sure what other members recommend.
Thoughts??
Thanks folks- any photos would be helpful.
Also, I am thinking of purchasing a bimini frame from one of the catalogs to attach to the slant back to. The largest pre-made frame I found was 103", would that work for a boat with a 10.5' beam ?
Would anybody be able tell me the width and...
