can somebody help me with my windlass. I have good windlass , and when I’m picking up anchor about every minute or so it stops, I have to go to cabin , pull the rope down and it will work for another min or so. What could it be?

I have Good free fall windlass. The problem is, when I’m raising the anchor every minute or so I have to go inside the boat and pull the rope, then it’s working again for a minute or so. Does anybody know what should I check on ?
