I trust my son without issue. He is learning the ins and outs of handling AMFM when he’s on board. Once I’m comfortable, there will be no issue. He’s 38 and actually cares about the care of the boat.
What Jim says. We turn the Starboard switch to "on" when we're at the dock as it powers the sound system and head system, water pump, microwave if needed. Port goes on when we're starting up and heading out. Once we're at anchor Port is turned off. I prefer to shut down all batteries when...
Nice. We spent many a night tied to the wall on Toronto Island just past the Island Yacht Club. We liked it near the end near the old lighthouse.
Enjoy the eats! Toronto does have great restaurants.

Like Mike, we only have small shops here for Canvas. There are 3 that get the lion's share of the business.
We had our canvas completely done the year we bought AMFM. That was in 2012. We added a camper back as we like to spend nights aboard late into the season. And early for that matter...
In 2003 we took our 24' Doral on a trip from Toronto to Trenton and then Picton. Lake was glass for about 15 minutes outside of Toronto and then it kick up with 5-6 foot waves. I was motoring along in a following sea and finally pulled into Port Hope for the night. Next day was the same all...
Wow. Lake Ontario never looked like that back when we boated there! We'd come out of Toronto Harbour or Ontario Place right into lots of action!
Great pics. Where are you moored?

Mine's the same Cliff. It doesn't take nearly as long to go from 1/2 to full as it does to go from empty to 1/2. 95 370 Dancer tank. Interestingly, we have a grey water tank as well. It usually get close to full when the black water is at 1/2. So it all works out! Off to pump out we go!

I put a Nova Cool in our 95 370 4 years ago. The unit is physically smaller but has a larger capacity. It fit through the salon door without a problem. Taking the old Dometic (?) out was a different story. Removed the door, cut off all the crap on the back including the processor and it...
It's an interesting debate between using a bow thruster or not. I like the comment that if it makes you enjoy your boat more, do it. Our 370 has an aftermarket Vetus that the PO installed. It's there and I use it. I have only 6" either side to squeeze into when I back in. It's invaluable...
