Great news. I didn't have to remove the hatch cover. I removed all the screws (that I could reach) from both sides of the tracks. I then raised the port side high enough to get the roller wheels out (the track bent significantly without damaging it), while I simultaneously raised the starboard...
My hatch jammed and when I tried to close it, a roller wheel came off. I obviously need to pull the hatch off to replace the wheel, but have no idea how to do it. I think I need to remove the port side track and lift the whole hatch off at an angle, but I can't get to all of the track screws...

Beautiful job. I wish I would have done that on my last boats white interior...of course, I saved $1000 by not doing it

In addition, I've found this process to take a long time (not quick like engine oil draining). I've found it to "stop" at a couple of quarts, then I come back 10 minutes later and another couple of quarts will drain, etc.

I've been debating purchasing a RIB for years, but continue to do fine without one. Your setup sounds perfect. What models did you buy?

That seems to make sense and is certainly a conservative action that assumably wouldn't hurt anything. Unless of course it's sucking the heat back down-I'm no engineer. I deal with 700°C engines everyday, but they get a lot of airflow...

My only issue was months later, I noticed a few specs of rust on the top of the bow and wondered if someone had welded nearby...

I spoke specifically with Roger and when I told him that Olsens was $4800 vs his $20,000 quote, he acted quite insulted that I would compare the two. I did talk to Annie's and Chris gave me a $6000 side quote and $1900 bottom paint.
I've had Olsen's do other work for me and Dom has been fair...
Olsens quoted me $125 per foot plus a 10% veteran discount to paint the dark blue gel coat with Awlcraft. Owl Creek quoted $512 per foot for the same job.
