Eliminate the easy stuff first. Had a drive fluid leak before and it ended up being the reservoir cap. There is a vent built into the cap that failed and allowed fluid to leak throughout the bilge. Literally a $5 fix.

Where are you receiving the temp error? Is that a SmartCraft error or on your MFD? I don't believe the 2 communicate so my guess is a sensor on the fresh water side of the engine is throwing the SC error. As for the transducers, remove the plug from the ring and unscrew the transducer...
