I tow my '05 300 sundancer with a dodge ram 2500 with a hemi. Its easy to get out of the water, nerve racking putting it in, it drags the truck down the ramp sideways till it hits the water.
I have the same issue with my 2005 300 sundancer. I found how the water is getting on the floor in the aft cabin, there was 8 gallons of water under the port side of the cabin bed and was leaking onto the floor. i havn't found how it is getting to that point though. none of my water lines are...
I have a 2005 300 Sundancer with twin 350's and she has a leak somewhere in the aft cabin. Im getting water under the bed right behind the bathroom and it is running onto the floor. Does anyone else have that problem, the water lines are not leaking either.
I can not wait to get back on the water. may be another month or so. I got a boat ride the other weekend but its just not the same wearing gloves under amor and 2 jackets.
Yes Peters is located in Allentown. It is a great marina, I worked for them when I was in highschool part time. They know their stuff. There is a guy on here that works for them. his user name is "Lazy Daze"
I like my 300 with the 350's. It runs no problem at 45mph and economically at 30mph. People always under estimate the speed of this boat. Although at WOT it does hurt the wallet quite a bit so i don't do it often. (unless provoked)
No problem same here. I would love to take the boat to different places, but number one the 300 is to big to tow easily and number 2 it is a customer of ours and he is gracious enough to let me use it as he doesn't use it at all. In return I mantain the boat. Good luck with your new toy. If you...
Why do you need to. For winterizing I put it right in the tank. I use fresh water anitfreeze from CAMCO. It works good. In spring i drain the tank fill it half way with fresh water drain that, then i fill it 3/4 full and add some Spring Fresh to it run it through the lines until the tank is...
If you are using if in salt water, v-drives is the way to go. They don't take as much of a beating as the mercruiser io's. You can also look at the 98-2001 290. It has a similar cabin lay out with the privacy door. Not quite as wide as the 310.
The dancer is definatly the better choice. You can always change the cockpit lay out but you can't add an aft cabin on the weekender.
BTW pontoons have come a long way since they first came out. They are big on Lake Wallenpaupack in PA. If you are looking for one, make sure its wheel chair...
