I did try starting by advancing the throttle, and at first it would start, sputter, and then stall. After a while it wouldn't even do that, it would just crank. I am going down to the boat today to work on it and change the filter. I will let you know what I figure out.

Thanks for your help. Hopefully it is just a clogged up filter. Going to change it out Monday, and will let you guys know. Have you all really heard of a filter being so clogged that is caused the boat to not run??

Any ideas on what length screw, or what size hole to predrill for #8 screw?
