We are about to embark on the same thing, thinking of trailering the boat down while we are there for a week. Any must see by water suggestions? and a good place to snorkel (the other half likes to snorkel).
I have an 03 240 sundancer and through ha strange twist of events i am going to replace the entire porti potti.
I pulled the parts manual and the part number is 130716 I am looking for the new replacement model that will (hopefully) drop right in.
Thanks for the help!
that is the exact part i have been looking at jason78, from the original information I can find it is an attwood. I am hoping the footprint or at least the mounting holes are close. Has anyone done the conversion?
I am in the process of converting to LED's I have all of the lights in route except the bow light.
I can not find a replacement part number for the bow light. I would like to replace the entire assembly rather than change the bulb.
thanks for the info!
We recently bought a 03 240 DA and love it but we are planning on trailering down to FL a couple times a year.

Since the boat is new to me and sat for at least the last two years and every line had to have CLR ran through it to clear it out. I may try it myself from the sea strainer all the way to the thru hull. Still have to figure out the closed loop setup at the thru hull
I have the same issue with mine, I was going to try the acid purge when i get a chance. but really dumb question.

I missed the help with the A/C I have to figure out how to get to this thing, :huh:I have read also that over time growth in the cooling lines can cause heat exchange to be greatly diminished and setting up a closed loop with a mild acid to clean out the lines. the boat sat up for over 2 years...
DOCS it is a heck of a lake lots of place to explore and tons of good places to tube and ski and drop anchor and pop a cold one.

We are already planning a run to Chattanooga next year but taking our time maybe a 4 day weekend.

I had a similar problem I had to run the boat up on plane, I have read you can crack the line really quickly "to prime the pump". The seacock should be in the bilge, mine is right in front of the motor on the port side at the bottom of the hull. on the starboard side is the depth finder transducer.
it is funny you ask about the camp we follow, we moved to AL and that was the first question out of our entire neighborhood, We don't really follow sports.
