This is an awesome company. If you ever need anything that they install, I highly recommend using them.
I had a bow thruster installed on a previous boat. Heard good things about them and so hired them and they did a great job. Went beyond expectations.
I wanted a hydraulic swim platform installed on my new boat and their price was a little higher than other quotes, but Capt. Rusty Higgins reminded me that they are the best so I went with FBT for the install.
In my install, we had a hiccup due to their supplier sending wrong parts. It was an issue because I don't live near the boat, and by the time it was discovered, I had already flown down and had the boat hauled out. Their President, Carter, went way beyond expectations making everything work out easily for me as I had a return flight and obligations where I had to go home. Carter took care of everything, and kept me updated, and went beyond expectations taking care of costs and even covering more than I would have expecting. You don't usually get great customer service anymore, but FBT treated me so well, and I can't wait to use the hydraulic swim platform.
Trust me, use Florida Bow Thrusters. I'll post pix of swim platform soon.

My dock mate bought a 55 DB which has a long, fixed swim platform with a davit. They came to Chattanooga, and in 4 days cut 3' off of his platform, grafted on a new end, installed a GHS lift - in 4 days! You can't tell it from the factory install on my 58. Great company!

Richie/Carter-

I agree with everything you say for quality and service. FBS did the same project for my 55DB a few years ago when I bought it. I have to say I had my doubts when they took a sawzall and cut off half of my factory platform! Their mating of the new glass lip and Gelcoat match was pure artistry. One would never know it didn’t come from the factory.

Florida Bow Thruster installed a bow thruster in our previous boat (98 400 Express) and they were terrific. We were so happy with their work that when we decided on a stern thruster for our current boat (07 52 Sedan) we had them do the job. Once again we were extremely happy with their work.
The first winter lay up with the stern thruster we discovered oil leaking into the external tube. We called Florida Bow and they replaced the transmission a few weeks later in the dead of winter in a snow storm.
Zero issues with them, only praise. They are a 10/10. Great people to deal with!

Well I'm in New England so we used New England Bow Thruster (also own Carolina Bow Thruster) and I figured I'd throw a plug in for them as well. Top notch outfit and the guys really work hard to make it perfect.

I used East Coast Bow Thruster and was very happy with the work that father and son team did. Not only was the install perfect, but they went out of their way to leave the boat as clean as they found it.

Wish I could find someone good in our area (N. Texas) for a bow thruster install. One place around that does it, but have heard some ugly stories from installs.

If anyone knows of someone up in this neck of the woods - please post their name.
