Any idea how much to replace a cuttless bearing on a 44 SD?
Starboard side.

Just had stbd side replaced on my 400DB. 1.75" shafts. $613 parts and labor not counting haul fee.

They wanted $1000 to do both of mine. Extra if the set screws needed drilling out.
I did them myself, $395 for the strut pro (free freight) and $86 each for the bearings. Took about 5 hours, including drilling out the set screws on the starboard side.

Yep.

I bought a used Strut Pro that was coincidentally set up for my exact situation recently.

DIY man. Screw the marina rates I say.

Thanks for the info.

Just got my cuttless bearings replaced at the same time I got the bottom paint.
The C/bearing job alone was $1050.00 for both.
Great job.
