Official 320 Dancer Thread

Hey, all. New, to me, 320 owner here! Just wanted to say hi and that I am sure I will have many questions to ask this thread over time. Pretty excited to scroll through the 112 pages here and see if any of my current questions were previously answered to maybe discover answers to questions that I haven't even thought of yet.

Welcome! Don't limit yourself to just 320 specific threads. Our boat models share a lot of commonality in how their systems are put together, and many discussions can apply to multiple models.

Welcome, rh320! I found reading my manuals was really helpful. In my case, I had to go reproduce them, most of the manuals were missing, but found pretty much every manual for every device on board. For me, a good navigation device was extremely important, and looking back, replacing some of the external items on the engines would have helped reduce engine failures on the water. Replace/purchase spares for the fuel pump relay, IAC valve, and water pressure sensor for both engines.

Welcome - am a 3 month owner of 2006 320 Dancer and enjoying it while learning its many nuances. You will get some good advice here. Have found the boat to be easy to handle and doesn't take long to learn to get into tight docks with minimal carnage. Although, gusty winds > 15-20MPH are still making me dangerous due to the freeboard, but will get it down in time. Good luck to you and have fun.

Thanks! It is pretty crazy how much information is dispersed across this entire site. I feel lucky to have found it!

I am lucky. I bought a one owner boat and the guy kept everything SR gave him with the boat. Good to know about those items!

WTF!!! So I have no communication between either switch pad on the helm and electronics. I have 13v coming to the EIM and 13v to the quick connects on both pads. the only things that work are my trim tabs, fan, aft acc and hatch down buttons. All lights flash when batteries are turned on and thats it. Cant find either part anywhere or diagnostic tools and other than rewiring and making the dash look like a 80s boat Im lost as can be. Am I missing something or am I screwed one month before our season starts? Also if I muscle open the hatch is there anything I should check?

Thanks and congrats on your recent 320 purchase! I haven't gotten a chance to learn much about my boat but I am looking forward to familiarizing myself with it as you have yours.

Had to rewire the helm with toggles do to faulty pads and EIMs, all done but I am having trouble with the windless. I have identified the wiring but I cant figure out which pair turned power on and which pair runs the motor. 2 are under the helm which I am guessing are the power and 3 are in the engine bay which I am guessing run the motor. Since I don't have power to the winless I cant v meter out the cable combinations. Any help much appreciated.

Does anyone know wher I can get a replacement actuator for the portside ER hatch lift? The motor is still good but the shaft is bad. Tried to get info from Acculift, the original supplier, but no go.

Congrat's on the new boat. As I was so politely told a few months back, "it didn't happen unless you have photo's".
I just picked up our 2007 320 on March 31st. It is sitting in the driveway surrounded in snow. Frustrating for sure.
I upgraded from a 05 Sundancer as well!

Site wont let me upload pics!!! error message that it is too big but it's not! Will do tonight from home!
