My fresh water pump is not working after the boat came back from repairs. I checked the pump and found the wire harness was disconnected. I plugged it back in and still nothing. I also noticed another part of the harness close to the center on the port side near the engine disconnected (two plugs) but I don't know where they connect. Any any advice on how to trouble shoot the pump and what the other plugs might go to?

Seems like you have many issues with the way MM treated your boat. I'd think by now, they owe you a visit at your convenience.

if it was working when you took the boat in have those jack asses that worked on the boat fix it....

nothing pushes my buttons more than trusting my boat that I take pride in and take care of to a bunch of incompetent yahoos that call themselves mechanics just to have more things wrong with it than it had before they touched it....and on top of all that from your other thread on the repairs they dare leave the boat filthy with old parts laying around....

I would be showing my ass about now to MM......this situation would get ugly fast...

I'm done with MM. If I can't figure this one out on my own I will get someone else to help me. My guess is the dual harness plugs were disconnected when they pulled the port engine. I just can't figure out where they go. I don't know why they would have unplugged the fresh water pump.

I am unfamiliar with the plugs on your boat but usually electrical plugs are designed to only connect a certain way on purpose so that if they are disconnected you can easily know which ones to connect back together....look at the shape and size of the connectors as well as the number of pins and the pin layout inside the connector...sometimes the coloring of the connectors and wiring can also be used to determine how to connect them back together.....

You could take a meter, have someone cut the breaker on and off and see if the plugs actually go to the FW pump. Certainly sounds like you are not getting 12v to the pump.

I am like CliffA. About now, after reading your other threads, I would be sitting in the MM manager’s office telling him how I really felt about his Service. This is just another reason I do everything possible myself.
