Bought her six weeks ago, and have been patiently waiting while some work and upgrades were done - not to mention the holidays - but she's finally on her way from the cold to her new home. Should be here Wednesday...suppose to be 70 for Super Bowl Sunday, hope to watch it on the hook in a cove - and checkmark a major box off my life's "to do" list...

sweeet! sounds like a solid plan!

Very nice. Be sure to post a picture if your plan falls into place.

Wow.....received the below pic announcing her arrival late this afternoon. Not sure how this transportation company did it, but amazed as I was anticipating sometime tomorrow.

From 30 degrees to 65 degrees in about 25 hours. Will unwrap, rig, and splash tomorrow. :) Been big boatless for 7 months, and moved in the process.....can't wait to be floating again...

Congrats again. Moving boats always amazes me. It’s like watching planes take off and land. Never can get enough. Share as much as you’re willing.

Exciting times.....congrats.

Well, was a busy day, but on the third attempt - she's in her new slip. Almost didn't do it today - 20 mph steady wind out of the south - and of course the slip is exactly east / west. Not sure it if was the healthy wind, but it seemed to be noticeable the difference between a 16* deadrise on this vessel versus a 20* deadrise on my 370DA....the bow on this one seemed to get caught easier, not dig in, and move....who knows, maybe it was the wind and just the newness of the vessel.

Anyway, some pics....

Once I met the driver, was really impressed with his set-up. Trailer was hydraulic and could take up to a 65' boat. Rode low, you could barely get two pieces of paper between the bottom of the hull and trailer.

Had to back-up towards the travel lift because there was a boat on the side.

Airborne.....waiting for the props to be put on.

Getting ready to get lowered into the tub. A bit nerve racking as this was the first time I've done this with a boat, and the tub was tighter beam-wise than I would've liked, and there was zero form of any padding.....only concrete and steel. Threw lots of fenders up and down the sides - and fortunately the 20 mph wind was straight down the pipe of this spot.

Tucked away for her first evening in her new home. Lots of work to do getting her set up....but she's floating. :)

Thought I'd throw this up in relation to the boat painting discussion thread. Imron paint, 12 years old - never seen wax. Keep in mind, she just traveled a little over 1,000 miles and has yet to be washed. Those aren't lines or dust on the far left, I think that's where the sun was hitting and it was having a starburst effect. Imron, Awlgrip - great looking, low maintenance stuff.....and the boat is like a black mirror. Hopefully no one's offended - this is my first non-SR in over two decades.

She is beautiful. We are all boat people not offended at all. Thanks for including us in your journey.

Not going to mention my Silverton (after 3 Sea Rays). That Awlgrip is amazing.

Gorgeous! Congrats again. Now where are the on the hook SB pics? :)

Sadly, didn't make it. Day started out beautiful - about 70 degrees in the early afternoon - then a couple of hours before the SB a cold front went through and it got nasty. 20+Kt winds and a 20 degree temp drop and we said screw this. Soon, and definitely will be watching my favorite - College football - on the hook... Sigh...

Beautiful day yesterday - sunny, 80 deg's and light winds. Enjoyed a wonderful afternoon with my wife, kids and a couple of their friends.
