Has anyone here installed the boat command with 24 and 12v batteries that are monitored as well as two temperature monitors, one for the bilge and one for the cabin?

I bought the system this past weekend and am hoping to get it wired up this Saturday. Looking for some tips

Thanks in advance
Steve

Steve, I saw that at the boat show as well. Almost pulled the trigger. Looking to follow how it works for you once you get it installed. Also considering making the trek up river to check out your new marina.

I really think Boat Command is a pretty neat deal. I did a fair amount of research on it and all the reviews have been good. The install looks a little difficult when it comes to using two temp sensors and 12 and 24v battery monitors. (Involves relays) I also bought the shore power monitor. (Had my shore power go out twice last year and ruin everything in the fridge) if I like them we will carry them and install them at my Marina.

Let me know when you want to come to the Marina. I am there most weekends. We are about to start renovations and have things torn apart for a while. Looking forward to seeing you.

We should see how many club searay people we have in the area and I will throw a party at the Marina one night.

Have it... and love it... Great product at a very reasonable price. We have a very weak cell signal where the boat is but the SMS technology works fine in that environment. East to install and reliable. I have no idea who owns it and have no personal vested interest in the company but it's a service I'm glad is available and installed on my boat.

Thanks for the input Gerry. What accessories did you pick up with it? what boat did you put it on?

I have the temperature sensor and motion detector. Haven't installed the motion sensor yet but the voltage and temp indication is active. It's on our 40DA.

So did you hook it up to multiple banks of batteries. For example I have 2 x 12v house batteries, 1- 12v generator battery, 24v port batteries, 24v Starboard batteries.

I am doing two temperature sensors, one for the cabin and one in the engine room. I am pretty sure I am going to need a relay to toggle between both temperature sensors.

I am also doing a shore power sensor and the lights on the relay in the cockpit.

We are one of the few dealers in the country for it. I think it is awesome. I have one on my boat and one on my RV. Any questions about it just email or call me. Here is a link to it https://boemarine.ecomm-nav.com/search?q=Boat+command&x=29&y=8

I installed the Boat Command System today and it went very well. I pre made some long harness last night at home to be able to run the sensors for the shore power and the engine room temp sensor in the engine room. Love the system so far. Real piece of mind for me.

I am hoping that I can monitor the second set of batterie for the port 24v batteries and the 12v Generator battery.

I am also eating for boat command to send me a 12v relay so I can add another temp sensor in the cabin.

Overall this system is great. Nice read out, nice simple install, easy set alerts and I will definitely be adding more accessories to the system.

So far we are 9 out of 10. It would have been a 10 out of 10 if I had the other 12v relay, so I could have run the other temp sensor in the cabin.

We we have the relays in stock of you don't feel like waiting.

I just installed boat command today. Tested the system and works great. Hooked up both banks of batteries, main bilge pump and high water pump and shore power monitor. All worked as advertised. The App is easy to use and alerts pushed out to my texts and email when I tested the limits I had set. It will be a real piece of mind for me. I am 45min away from the boat during the week so having knowledge of what is going on while I am not around will be great. I have not felt comfortable leaving the AC on all week while I am gone in fear of a busted hose but now I will be able to come down to a cool boat every weekend.

I have had it for 2 seasons and it is a great system. Takes all of the worry away from being away from the boat during the week.

Exactly why I added it. I wanted to know off season the boat was secure so I added the security to the transom door.

Nice to see the positive reports. I just placed my order. Any insight as to the best install location?

I installed the unit up under the cockpit sink area. Only about 1/4”of fiberglass there. I haven’t had a problem with signal in 3 or so years that it has been installed.
