Thinking about upgrading to a slightly bigger boat. From my signature you can see I'm currently in a 2003 220 bowrider. Want to move up to 25-27 foot range. Don't want to buy new.

Are there any recent models 2011-2016 in the 25-27 ft size that have the rear lounge seats for hanging out on when the boat is not moving?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you mean by "rear facing lounge seats", but if you mean bench seats built into the engine cover overlooking the swim pad on the stern, then I know the 230 and 250 SLX have those as well as the 230 SPX

Then it sounds like the 260 Sundeck will check all your boxes then. It doesn't have the bling of the SLX (I like bling), but it's smaller and has full-blown barcaloungers at the stern.

I just purchased a 2017 290 SDX with outboards, I know you asked up to a 27’ but if you search you can find 2015s and 2016s on the market with a single I/O and it’s still trailerable.... here’s a picture of my rear lounger seats

There are plenty. SDX 270, SDX 250, SDX 270, Yamaha jetboats, Chaparral makes several, Fourwinns makes one.
Sure there are others as well.

That is one sweet day boat.

Thanks! Im definitely going to miss my 330 (even with all the headaches I had with her) but I think right now im still at 90% day boating and 10% overnighting anyways so this boat should be a better fit.... Ill definitely be back in a cabin cruiser at some point though.

That 290 SDX is a beauty! It makes my little 270 SD look tiny.

Hello, JMac, I know this is an old thread, but hope you can answer a question for me. I'm looking at a 290 SDX, and I'm wondering what the loop is for next to the two loungers? It looks like a handle to lift the seat, or adjust somehow. I asked the current owner, and he doesn't know. I tried to pull a little, but nothing happened. I didn't want to damage anything on his boat. But, do you know what it's for? Also, it seems like you've had this boat for a while now. Any issues, or anything you would change, now that you know the boat? Thanks!

In case someone else reads this and also wonders, I found out. Pull the strap, and the base of the seat can slide out, making it a longer lounger. I can’t believe the owner didn’t know... he’s tall and could use it! Now he knows.
