OEM speaker grill removal

I have a '04 185 Sport that got a new Sony deck today and tried to put in some new speakers! For some reason I cannot figure out how the OEM speaker grills are removed without breaking them. Is there something I'm missing? Has anyone done this recently? Is it snap on, screw, clip?? Thanks in adavance!!

My factory speakers are Sony, with a Sea Ray logo grill. The covers rotate clockwise to remove, but they are tight. You have to push on them and tap them with the heal of your hand to get them to move.
