One of the benefits of being retired is that there's almost no limit to my "free time". So this afternoon, having nothing better to do I spent some time on YouTube. You know how it is on YouTube. One video leads to another which leads to.... Well, you get the idea.

While perusing the mundane videos I came across this one and I must say, it's among the most interesting videos I've ever seen. It's almost 42 minutes long so when you sit down to view it, make yourself comfy, grab a cup of joe and enjoy it.

Thanks for that!

I believe that I've seen it before, but I'll watch it tomorrow after breakfast to make sure. What else do I have to do in the morning while drinking my pot of coffee?!

Does it show all the crap that my wife and I have lost under the boat? :)

I think I caught that on Discovery (or similar channel) - cool stuff.

Is this some kind of ploy to get some of our wonderful drinking water? I've heard you guys had problems with wildfires over there on the left coast but this seems a bit extreme....

There are a series of these 'Drain the _____" shows including the Atlantic, Pacific (Pearl Harbor)

Nope, no water grab from the PNW. We live on, and get our water from the Columbia River. It gets its water supply from the 260,000 sq mile Columbia River Basin.

Now I wouldn't put anything past those wild Californians. When I watch the news of how their state is burning and how they're calling for federal help and for firefighters from all over the West, I can't help but wonder if they would be applying for Foreign Aid if they had become a separate country as they wanted to a couple of years ago.

They couldn't get it to a vote that would pass, but if most of us in the PNW were allowed to vote it would pass with a huge majority. I might be wrong but I heard they were going to call it "Californication". ;)

Capt TJ, thanks. I'll look for those other videos.

I looked, and it does. :)
