If you get a incoming call from 800-945-2000 its a scam. 800 calls are usually free for you to call them, not used for incoming calls to your home or cell.

No one should ever rely on or trust a caller ID to be true. They can be spoofed in seconds to anything you want.

Spoofing of CallerID is so dang annoying. I take a lot of incoming business calls on my cell phone, so I am forced to answer numbers I'm not familiar with. Nothing irritates me more than what appears to be a call from my local area code being some scammer or telemarketer who's nowhere close to me.

Whatever happened to the "good ole days", when scams cam via an "official" letter on your fax machine from a deposed Nigerian prince just looking for help to get his 30 million out of the country!!!! :)

I never answer unless it's from someone I've already programmed into the phone.
No name in the caller display = Leave message

I'm with Boater420, and if they don't leave a msg I go in and block the number. The number of scam or robocalls I've gotten has decreased dramatically.

The last time that happened I put a loop in my fax to send an endless message to the sender
