Finally got out for a day on our (new to us) 340. We cruised over to Howe Sound this past Sunday (30 miles north of Vancouver) to spot Bald Eagles and Seals. If you look closely at the first picture here, you can see a Bald Eagle perched on the top of that island. We saw quite a few. It was a really lovely day, and I'm always taken aback at how beautiful British Columbia is ...even just right outside of Vancouver. Looking forward to many more days like this.

Mark

Thanks!

It was in the mid 40’s down at sea level. Not too bad with an electric heater running in the cockpit off the genny.

brrr.. great pics.. thanks

nice canoe too

Mike, thanks for sharing the pics. I saw the pic of the dinghy. Do you tow it when you take it with you? Nice looking boat BTW.

You bet, and glad you enjoyed! We have a Seawise hydraulic davit system for the dinghy. It's pretty nifty. Here's a (somewhat) decent picture of it:

Mike, thanks for the info on the davit system. I had a Seawise manual system on my last boat and still have it. The buyer didn't want it so it now sits in boxes in my garage.

Another Mike
