Looking at new boats, SDX series. Many have the tan upholstery which is not quite vinyl and not quite cloth. Any owners that can share their opinions? Hot in sun, stain resistance, ability to be cleaned, abrasion/wear resistant, etc?

I think you are referring to luxury woven vinyl. If so it is fantastic as far as durability and cleanbility. Reach out to quint4 on this form as he has made 100’s of products out of this and is a dealer.

I am asking about the seat material, not the floor material. Agree with the woven floor material, spectacular.

I typically see that called "soft touch" vinyl. I've been on several (new) boats that have it in the last year or so and it seems to stay cooler than standard vinyl. My new pontoon boat has small amounts of it as part of the contrasting trim color on the seats and I really like it.

our 2016 350 has it.

The fabric stays relatively cool in the sun and repels most liquids without any issue. We did get a couple of drops of red wine on it. That took a little more scrubbing to get out, but it came out.

Thanks. Real world reviews are better than brochures.
