Dean,
I will text you guys on Thursday so maybe we can catch up at some point.

Nothing like waiting till the last minute to make a decision.

We are headed down Wed evening and will be at the show on Thursday.

I have been informed by my wife that I am not permitted within 500 miles of a boat show this year. Have fun

Brian - she knows how good you'd look in an L650 or Marlow 78CE!:)

Well, Carter, we spent three hours on the Viking 75 Motor Yacht (at MIBS)and I REALLY like it. Almost as important she does too. Not sure I’m going to take a step like that but I do spend a lot of time drooling over the Viking 75MY web site. I’ve wondered is a Sea Ray has given any thought to going bigger than the 650....

Susan LOVES the Marlow 78...I think I need to talk her down to a 67 though!

Marlow is way up the list in our minds.

Last year at FLIB we were on the Marlow's 3 or 4 different times over the course of 2-3 days. I had a chance to sit down with Dave Marlow and hear about his philosophy on boats. He was the primary designer at Grand Banks on the Aleutian series. Met his wife. Have met their far east plant manager and the current CEO. Really impressed with the boats and the company- but get out your check book. They are not cheap.

Marlow labels their boats based on waterline. So a 78 - guessing the LOA is the mid to high 80's. Big *S(SS boat.

I have been on the Viking 75MY. Love that boat. Marlow wins out for us with the Portuguese bridge.

We are getting close to no longer being boatless - would love to say it will be a Marlow - but not yet ready to spend that much.

Fun thoughts though...

Mark

As Mark said above, Marlow boats tend to be much longer than their model numbers imply. I like the 67 as well, though I prefer the ECB models. All make nice lives boards....
