Hey fellow Sea Ray owners! After boating for merely one season on our first boat (an '03 Bayliner 245), we decided to upgrade to an '05 Sea Ray 340. Living in Vancouver, we absolutely love the endless boating and cruising destinations coastal B.C. affords, but we found a 24 ft boat to be a bit tight for us. It was "ok" but it's always been my dream to have a Sea Ray, and we needed a much bigger boat. I LOVE the 340. It's a real shame that we're moving into the colder, wetter months up here though. I'll have to wait a bit till we take her on some extended cruises next year. For now I'll be staring at her in the marina for the most part, and taking her out for a quick harbor jaunt here and there. Can't wait till spring!

Welcome! Excellent choice in a boat - but I am a little biased ;). We moved up from a 260 Sundancer to the 340 and love the amount of space we have and the 340 still has a very sporty feel. It dramatically changed how we boat and travel.

Thanks all. Again, really glad to be here!

Kevin C ..how do you like the slant back canvas? I've got the same one, and not really a fan as it compromises the seating against the transom. I suppose I'm sure I can manage. Just doesn't seem ideal.

Love Sea Ray & Love Vancouver, but have never done both together. I’m jealous of the great waterways and ports you have. It must be an absolute blast and an adventure when on the water.

One day I hope to rent a Sea Ray in your part of the world to enjoy it for myself.

Welcome to Sea Ray, the best boat on the water.

Daryl, I'm in Covington. Where do you keep your boat? when I get my restoration finished I'll have to look for you.
