Hello everyone, we just purchased a new to us 2001 180 BR! It is our first boat and we have lots to learn so I'd like to thank you all in advance for all the help and info!
 
I loved my 180 when I had it for 7 years........ Only had one small issue the entire time which was a quick fix and sold it almost for the same money when I bought it new. What seating arrangement does your boat have? I had the one with the bench seat and 2 swivel captain chairs and it was great.

I had an '04 180 with the 3.0 and loved it! It was a great sandbar boat. I was the first owner and sold it this year after 10 solid years of great boating. Enjoy your new to you boat.

We have the double fold down seats. What was the issue you had with yours? I'm trying to go through the boat and hit all the maintenance points. Also going to swap the 21P 3 blade for a 19P 4 blade

The only issue I had was a battery drain one year which turned out to be a bad solenoid on the starter. It would make a click every once in a while when the boat was off. It was replaced and fix quickly.
 
Awesome! I just ordered a replacement bimini top and a cover. We had some rain this morning and it looks like the cover we have now actually caught and held a few gallons of water allowing it to drip into the boat. LOL, glad I don't have to buy these things often because they are expensive!!
 
Oh one other thing..... try not to allow folks to stand on the seats to get on and off the boat. I had one seat cushion give out early on..... the upholsters redid the seams and also placed some type of material behind the vinyl to strengthen the entire covering. It was a little stiffer to sit on but it held together after that.
