Attempt Failed...

Anyone have ideas for me to use a site like shutterfly to post photos easily? Previously used Photobucket, but we all know what's happening there!

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong? Here's what I'm doing that isn't working...

Select "Insert Image" in the icon row above,
Select "from URL" and paste the URL which was copied form my shutterfly photos using the share button (https://pix.sfly.com/3S6kmR)
Message Pops Up "error: Invalid File"

Any Ideas?? This process used to work with photobucket.

use imgur.com

try to un-check the option to "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" it's what I have to do with OneDrive

Using your URL:

would not work with the one you posted, I had to go there and find the image source URL and used that + un-checking the option to retrieve remote.. blah too much work

Slightly off topic, photobucket pulled the rug out on file referencing. In a way it's good b/c that site has always been painfully slow. I'm sure they have valid reasins but I wonder how many eyeballs their advertisers will get now that they've put a price (and it's hefty) on allowing file referencing.

BTW, my signature pic an the pic below is posted on Shutterfly and referenced here. Here's how I did it...

-double click on the thumbnail of your pic on shutterfly
-pic pops up bigger - right click, click COPY IMAGE LOCATION.

-Come back to CSR, clik on the "INSERT IMAGE" icon, click the "FROM URL" tab, uncheck the box, then paste the link (control V)

Thanks for the reply! Not sure what the "un checking the option to retrieve remote" thing is, but I'll try and find it.

Let's see if the "rondds" plan works...

Ron - THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! Now I know how to easily add photos from Shutterfly!

Sure thing. Stupid Photobucket screwed everything up! ;-)
