This is our first year with our 330 DA, we're keeping it at Harbor East, and we need to gas up for the first time for an upcoming trip.

Any preferences on gas docks in the area? Looks like Rusty Scupper and Lighthouse Point are the main options, but wondering what people who know the area prefer.

Thanks in advance.

I prefer gas docks that pump larger quantities. In the Inner Harbor, Baltimore Marine Center-Inner Harbor is the one next to Rusty Scupper and they sell a lot of fuel. A lot of big yachts buy their fuel there so they definitely sell a lot of diesel, but they seem to sell a lot of gasoline too.

was just there for the 4th - love the new docks looks good.

Roman is that Inner Harbor east! Looks great. I called them for a slip in June and Millie was honest around their time table on improvements I ended up not needing the slip look forward to getting there soon. How are the depths in the slips. When I was there for a quick dock and dine last year there were a few slips with a depth of less than a foot you could see bottom!

Lighthouse Point's gas dock is broken. Has been most of the summer. For gas, MD Yacht Club has a good pier, as does Pasadena Yacht Yard - both on Rock Creek. Anchor Bay also has a good dock. Note that all Inner Harbor docks close at 5 during the week.

Yes it is, looks great and they had great customer service. Honestly did not look at the depth so not sure but there were plenty of sailboats so had to be deep enough for them

Maryland Yacht Club on Rock creek has decent gas prices and you can join the fuel club for $100 and get 20cent discount.

Anchor Bay East on Back Creek (past the Key Bridge on the left as you leave the harbor) will likely have the best prices. They pump plenty of fuel. And they have a nice "dive bar" called Hard Yacht Cafe that is worth visiting too.

I'm based at BMC Lighthouse Point. Their fuel dock is closed for the season. In fact, it's closed forever. Apparently it was becoming too much of a maintenance issue fixing holes in tanks and other maintenance. There's a rumor that BMC will be "building" a new fuel dock over near the Marine Max facility. But unless they've already started the process, I can't see how - with the Baltimore City permitting and approval bureaucracy - it could be constructed and operational next season. This leaves BMC Inner Harbor (Rusty Scupper) as the ONLY fuel dock in the Inner Harbor. Yes, they have fast pumps. I filled up (gas) there last weekend and it took probably 1/3 of the time it takes most other places. Nice! But ... and there's always a "but"... the fuel price is STEEP. At least for gas. I guess that's Econ 101: Supply and Demand. With no other source of fuel in the Harbor, they can charge hat they want. And they do.

Right outside the Harbor you have more options. As mentioned above, Anchor Bay (to the North, up Bear Creek) is a good place to stop. Reasonable prices and the added benefit that you might run into local celebrity weatherman Marty Bass (who slips his Sea Ray on the other side of the fuel dock).

To the south side of the Patapsco are Stoney Creek and Rock Creek. Just pas the Stoney Creek drawbridge is Stoney Creek Bridge Marina. I went by there last week (after filling up at BMC IH... I was bone dry). Their price was more than $0.30 per gallon less than BMC Inner Harbor. But, they don't have diesel.

As mentioned, MD Yacht Club has a very accessible fuel dock right at the entrance to Rock Creek. They aren't the cheapest, unless you join their fuel dock club, in which case it's a pretty good deal. Further down Rock Creek is Pasadena Yacht Yard (PYY Marine) They have reasonable prices and a fuel club, too.

I think those are all the options in the Patapsco River and the Inner Harbor. There may be some other options in Curtis Bay or in the Middle Branch of the Patapsco (where there cruise ships go), but I don't get back that way much, so I don't know...

Is there a marine app like Gas Buddy on land which shows you where gas pumps are located on the water. I just purchased a 1995 240 Sundancer with 5.7 l engine and more sensitive about fuel than I have been with my 200BR. I am on the Potomac River near Colonial Beach.
