2017 season Upper Chesapeake CSR roll call

Hey guys, another Mike here. Skibum and I used to be at the same marina, although I don't believe we ever officially met. We left the marina 3 years ago and now have the boat on Seneca Creek, just above Middle River.
We're on our 2nd Searay, the first was a 215 weekender that we outgrew. But I've been on boats my whole life, first with my grandfather on the lower eastern shore.
On family trips we love all the spots already mentioned... Fairlee, Sue, Tolchester. Without the family, my son and I love to fish. So we do a bit of everything with the boat.
Keep your eyes out for "Necessity". :)

Hey this is Paul, friend of Mike who started this thread. I have a '95 270. I've been boating since the early 90's in the upper Chesapeake. Currently at CYC on Frog Mortar. Mike already told you about all of the good spots LOL.

THIS IS A GREAT SITE!!!

It's about time you showed up Paul. I've only been pestering you to get on here for 5 or 6 years.

I missed a spot. We went over to Mike's North for the first time on Sunday. We only had appetizers, but we had 5 or 6 of them and everything was delicious as well as perfectly prepared. The menu had a nice selection and the prices seemed to be reasonable (I usually don't pay attention, so maybe they aren't). There are plenty of guest slips for the restaurant. The outside deck and bar are beautiful. The inside restaurant is very clean and modern. The restrooms were spotless. We didn't try the crabs or any of the main courses but I'm sure I'll be going back soon to do so. Overall, I was very impressed with the place. I highly recommend it.

I've never been up Stony Creek before. It was very nice. Just watch out for the big "mountains" sticking up out of the water at the entrance to the creek. I really can't believe that I've missed out on this one for so long.

I remember a Mike from a few years ago that was a pilot. Was that you? I do remember your boat's name. Made me smile because I agree 100%.

My name is Todd and I have been on CSR for a while. We are off of Middle River on Galloway Creek. Members of BYC so my family and I spend lots of time at the pool and on the Island. Heading to Cambridge this weekend and will round out the season with ample visits to StM, Rock Hall, Tolchester and Annapolis. We moved to the water a few years ago and while we still weekend on the boat, life with kids, sports and coaching , etc. has changed the frequency of our overnights.

Skibum, no, not a pilot. There are a lot of us Mikes around...

and btw, I saw your boat at Sunset a couple weekends ago. Not a bad place to hang out either.

You guys will have to wave at me at Long Beach when you go by to Sunset. Aw, man...getting hungry for their crab imperial chicken now.

LOL... I have 5 friends named Mike that hang out on a regular basis. We always tell people that our parents weren't very creative. Of course now days, that's a blessing. I meet a ton of people whose names sound like a brand of laundry detergent.

I like Sunset Cove. I don't get there as often as I used to because I don't burn enough fuel getting there. It's too darn close!

Toby - Do we pass your house on the way by? You're boatless at the moment, aren't you?

Only for a bit longer. Ships Monday! We still hang out at the pool at LB...longinly looking at our empty slip.
