Good morning,
I was just wondering what my options are if I want to clean or work on my boat in the future on own. I don't need it right now but it just occurred to me that I can't even clean the boat if it is on the water all the time. I will rely on professional services most likely but what if I want to spend sometime doing some imaginary customer work that requires the boat to be hauled out for a day? or even a week? In theory, I can buy a trailer and haul it a way but the last thing I want to do is putting her on a trailer.
Thank you.

Regards,
Calvin

Didn't mention where you keep your boat, if at a marina most will haul them out and rack them for you. Some will even sling them for a few hours to get some quick work done

My boat is on Lake Washington but in a private marina and it has no such service. I will call a few marinas to see what they offer.

There should be some local boat haulers someplace nearby..that can haul your boat to wherever you like or need.
I use to have my 27' delivered and blocked in my backyard for off season storage.

Here you go Calvin: http://www.canalboatyard.com/

They're located in Ballard and will allow you to work on your own vessel or bring in vendors to do the work. You'll pay for the haul-out and for each day you're on the hard. They're one of the few places that will allow you to work on your own boat and they don't put restrictions on who you can bring in.

One more option (though not as convenient) is Delta Marine which is located in the Duwamish. It is only accessible at or near high tide but apparently they have good rates and don't charge for lay days.

Good luck!

Sandy
