Hi, I wonder if anyone has used a Todd Waste Caddy to pump out the porti potty on a Sundeck 240? I have the deck fitting that screws in to the deck plate. Before I spend 500-600 bucks for the caddy, I wanted to see if anyone has used them before.

I have had very limited success pumping out porti potty thru deck plate. I just pull the bottom tank and bring it to the house.

I wish I could just pull it out and dump it. The tank is secured down and there are two hoses connected to the back of the tank for the deck plate. So taking it out would be messy and time consuming

Is there not a pumping service at your lake? That would clean it out.

mine has the two hoses also that just screw off / the two clamps on the side unhook and the top and bottom separate. Ya its not my most funist job, but its quicker than fooling around trying to pump it out.

I bought a wet/dry shop vac motor that attaches to a 5 gallon bucket. I extended the hose with pvc pipe. Not the best smelling, but its clean and there is no mess whatsoever. I am able to dump it straight into my septic tank.

when we had our 215EC we used the waste deodorant/treatment packets from Walmart found in the RV section......they worked well to mask the smell when emptying the port-a-pot holding tank.....

I use the exact system. Store the Shop Vac in a large hefty bag when not in use. A Shop Vac is tough, durable, and cheap.
