How do you get the outer trim ring off the
cabinet doors ?? Also I pulled the push button knob
off the door to take the knob off and they both won't
come off !!!

The knobs screw in, screw out. The trim ring is a different story as it has one way barbs on it. I changed all mine over, and had to cut most of them out with a dremel tool.

My starboard starting battery on my 2006 340 SDAi s getting weak and I am unsure of how to isolate which one it is so I can replace it. On my boat there are two batteries on the port and two on the starboard side of the engine room. There are no issues with starting the port motor or the generator.

just follow the wires from the engine starter on the starboard engine back to the battery......

I recall they are wired in parallel, so replace them in pairs - not one at a time...

agree 100% with Carter....if both batteries are connected together you should replace both batteries at the same time....if they are not connected together you can replace one at a time....if the batteries are connected in parallel the output of the bank of batteries will only be at the level of the weakest battery in the bank....at least that is what I have read...

Thanks to everyone for the quick responses.

That at makes sense. It looks like I have two starting batteries on the starboard side wired in parallel and two deep cycle that are newer on the port side.

Should I replace the starting batteries with deep cycle or dual purpose? I think they are group 27.

Any one ever go to the boat after a week and the xintex co alarm was beeping,
no motor or anything running all power was off. There is no reset , all of a sudden it quit beeping and no flashing of the red light ! Any thoughts or ideas ! I'm just glad it quit ,
there was no reason for it to go off

I was going to say low battery voltage, but since you said all the power off, I am going to go with demonic possession. Better do an exorcism or sell. ;)

Thanks! I forgot to say I also turned off the converter , so low battery sounds good !!

Lol
