410 Sundancer/Express Cruiser and 400 Sundancer/Express Cruiser **Official Thread**

Re: 410 Sundancer/Express Cruiser and 400 Sundancer/Express Cruiser **Official Thread

Tom, if I were you I'd post that in a new thread. There just may be people who own other than a 400/410 and PWC. :)

Thank you, however I apparently do not have a "create new" button otherwise I would have. Sorry.

We like the upgrade of the stainless steel sink and faucet as the picture Ken referenced in the previous post. Which post did the picture come from or does anyone know the part numbers and place of purchase?

The replacement faucet I ordered is a Scandvik#10050 and the sink I ordered is a Scandvik #10280. Although I haven't installed them yet I got the part numbers from others here who have so these are the correct part numbers.
Based on info from the Scandvik site I ordered Scandvik #19006 for the drain. But their site does indicate that you can use a standard 2" drain from a big box store.
I just googled those part numbers individually for the best prices with shipping and tax if any.

The picture is of my boat. I did the upgrade in 2015 and love the look!

You are welcome. When you figure out how to unscrew the old tracks up inside let us know.

Mark
Mark I think my door is different than yours. The 99 doesn't slide inside, it's open the whole way (luckily). It's going to be a little while before I tackle that project. I have to get the bottom painted this weekend and the rest of the led's installed. Going to change the impeller in the genie also. It's getting detailed next week and dropped in on the 28th. I'm probably going to have to do the sink change out first (thanks guys) after showing the wife this thread....

Thanks JVM225! Appreciate the info.

Hey guys.... tryin to replace bulbs in recessed ceiling lights. Manual states to pull fixture straight down...however it feels as though I'm going rip the head liner. It's really tight. Any suggestions?? Thanks in advance guys!!! Have several burnt bulbs and wanting to replace with LED's.

Re: 410 Sundancer/Express Cruiser and 400 Sundancer/Express Cruiser **Official Thread

They do pull down, just be careful. They are spring loaded and they are tight springs. Once you get a side started, it will come down fairly easy. If you have a plastic putty knife you can get the edge started.

Thanks Ken!! Funny... i mentioned a plastic putty knife to my son. Hey we do wanna check out the Sea Ray club. We belong to SYC and they also have cruises every month. Do you have cruises out the golden gate... like Monterey? I visited the website and I was tryin to find pics. Again thanks buddy!!

Oh yeah they pull down (some of them anyway) and when they come loose they let your finger tips know it. :smt013 I do have 3 on the lower step down ceiling above the cabinets that I haven't been able to get yet. I'm trying to come up with some kind of gizmo that won't tear up the ceiling when I pry it down, if I figure it out I let you know. You do the same if you come up with a good idea. Thanks and Good Luck............

Ray-
As everyone has said, just get one side started ( I used a table knife) and pull it down - it is rough on the finger tips! The spring clips are like a mousetrap, so when you get it halfway out, hold it by the clips as it comes out. One of two of mine had broken springs in the clips. Just fold the clips up and put them back in - they fit so tight that they will stay in just fine if a spring is broken.

Anytime you are interested in trying a cruise with us, just let me know. Membership is only $125 a year so not much of an investment. Check out the cruise schedule on the website. I am doing one to Cache Slough in June that would be easy for you to get to.

I took 2 cheap plastic (but strong) plates and pried on either sides of the light, it came right down!

Splashed today after a long winter!

I like your camper canvas. There are no aft supports right? I could not see any in the pics. I like the slight slant to the aft curtain too. Very nice!

We'll be adding it to our new boat at some point loved it on our old 330.

Enjoy the season! Looks a little cool still up there.

Correct no aft supports. I wanted to keep a bit of a slant to keep some sportiness.
