it was awesome. will be first of many trips! my chillin' out level was increased to expert.

It's a wonderful place, one of all time favorite places to be on a boat.

Hope your birthday was a great time.

Yeah, I think I could enjoy chillaxin' in that setting! Looks like a nice place to sit on the beach and just unwind.

Left Miami, windy so Biscayne Bay was very choppy. Cut through to Hawk's Channel (ocean side) at Adam's cut. Was very shallow, showing 1 foot of water under boat at times :(

Spent first few days in Key Largo, at the Marina Del Mar resort. We loved it, ate at Sharkey's, Dockside, and Snook's. First pix i posted in this thread was taken from Snook's at sunset. This pic was taken in canal going to marina.http://

Pic looks like you are headed towards Crash Corner on the Largo entrance canal...

Also good place to keep in mind for cutting between inside and outside is Angel fish. Comes out near Ocean Reef, just a few miles from Largo. The shallow water is at the entrance and exit - the inside of the cut is fine at any tide.

exactly right Footballfan! that is a tight canal. at one point, just after crash corner, the boat in front of me decided to tie up and a boat was coming at us and i ended up in the middle with 3 boats abreast. a little nerve wracking.

Looks amazing! Love the pics, post all you can!

remember that spot well.......when we were there a year or so ago we were right across the canal from the dive boats in the background of your picture.....did you ride the "African Queen"?

no we didn't, but while laying out on our sunpads, we waved at the African Queen passengers many times.

Richie, You took Adams cut? Between the depth and the bridge I bet it got sporty! When I had my GlacierBay 2685 I forgot to lower my Antenna as I
went under the bridge. Not so good. After new antennas all was well except my pocket book and pride. Del Mar is good. I hope you had a great time.

we did have a great time! after Key Largo we went out snorkeling, then cruised down to Postcard Inn Marina at Holiday Isle in Islamorada.http://

after a few more days, we cruised back to Miami, staying on the bay side and in the ICW. we had a headwind and still averaged about 25 mph all the way back to Miami, getting back in about 3.5 hours! http://

Arrived back at Haulover Marine Center, they put boat on a work rack, and i washed it down before they racked it inside. it is so nice racking a clean boat and knowing it will be just as clean in a month when i come back. no pelican poop covering boat when i return. http://
