Used a bunch of Lumitec stuff for the lighting upgrades.

Also did some underwater transom lights. These are the Lumitec Seablaze X spectrum. http://lumiteclighting.com/product/seablazex-spectrum-underwater-light/?application=marine

Link to Instagram video: https://www.instagram.com/p/BQVa5LoAtDo/?taken-by=jergekevin&hl=en

Controlled by a single on-off switch, when you first turn them on, they'll go through the full spectrum in 20 seconds. To choose a color, click off-on, and that color is held. Let it cycle through the first time, then the next cycles take 3 minutes to run through the spectrum.

Next are the arch and cockpit lights.

I used the adapter kit for the smaller lights: http://lumiteclighting.com/product/haloorbit-adapter-kit-flush-mount-down-light/?application=marine

Then used the white/red/blue/purple Halos. http://lumiteclighting.com/product/orbit-flush-mount-down-light/?application=marine

Please ignore the mess. Still a work in progress.

Now time to work on the instrument lights. Need to find a drop in 194 socket replacement. Not sure the options out there for color, dimming ability and such, but if you folks have suggestions, please chime in. (and yes, I did see that other thread a couple of weeks ago)

And did the LED bulb conversion in the cluster. In this pic, dimmer is turned to full bright. Tachs are obviously LED, Sync gauge is actually lit, with the old 194 bulb.

These are the bulbs I used:

Most of the sockets were integral with the bulb, so I bought a bunch of replacement sockets

They work fine with the dimmer, and they do a fantastic job of lighting the entire gauge evenly due to the number and orientation of each individual LED in the bulb

Fridge out. Going to be removing the old TV, and making a slide out rack for liquor bottles. Good access for wire runs to the cockpit

Looking great! I need to do this too so I'll watch yours close until I'm ready next year.

Yeah, I'd imagine your electronics, audio, lighting etc are similar to mine. When I get done, I'll probably have $12k into the upgrades, but well worth it I'm hoping.

Looking good. Your choice of beer is suspect.

Re: Been doing a bunch of electrical/electronics upgrades. Just did arch/cockpit ligh

I can assure you that's only working/frisbee/pacer beer.

Beer fridge and a couple of shelves of the beer cabinet at home :)

Well done sir!

I take my beer seriously. Friend needed help moving back to this area from Portland, OR a little over a year ago. Didn't have a lot of stuff, but did have a killer beer collection.

I bought a Yukon XL over the phone, flew out there, filled it with beer, then hit every brewery along the way on the way back.

Then sold the Yukon, which paid for the trip and the beer. Yay

Sometime in May, head up the Hudson, hang a left at Albany, right at Syracuse, left when you hit Lake Ontario, and head West for about 120 miles. I'd open up a Dark Lord for that sort of effort :)

Sounds good - maybe we can swing by Lake Placid and Malone to visit family there......

You're doing a really nice job with your 380. Keep the pictures coming.

Re: Been doing a bunch of electrical/electronics upgrades. Just did arch/cockpit ligh

Damn good question. Not sure how they're backlit (I don't have this on mine)

Re: Been doing a bunch of electrical/electronics upgrades. Just did arch/cockpit ligh

Dayum..... nice work. You are inspiring me to do some upgrades myself. I'm redoing the cockpit upholstery right now, opportune time to add some LED flair. AND I have been looking for a place to mount a new radio without a complete dashboard re-do, I like that side mount. Might try it myself.

AND..... from one beer-snob-380-dude to another........... Nice Beer Fridge (PBR excluded).

And hey, ice boom removed! Not that it was really needed this year.

Yeah, feel free to reach out. I've gotten pretty familiar with the innards on this thing. Also, my guy can do some pretty good deals on a LOT of this equipment.

I'm sure I'll run into you at some point again this year.

Cheers

Quick question, how did you seal the hole for the Seablaze transom light wires & screws? I have been wanting to install them for a couple of years but chicken out due to drilling below the waterline.
