WHAT!!I thought we were here talking about at least a 50 footer!!!!

Welcome to what I call the boaters triangle:
- How much money do you have to spend?
- How big/long do you want your new boat to be?
- How old a boat are you willing to accept?

You get to pick two of the criteria. The last is decided by the triangle.

The out come with the admiral when looking at the 30' and 31' dancer was the same as when we went to the jewelry store. I showed her a nice 1/2 carat diamond ring she was fine with it until the sales person showed her a 1 carat ring . I wanted to kill the sales man but the I looked at Ruth aka admirals face the choice was obvious.

Well put! That's the most efficient explanation I've seen!!!

Happy wife, happy life, right? Good luck with the next chapter in this adventure!!

Well Skipper Buds was a bust would have been nice to buy locally. But like someone said here at CSR that once it's bought and in the water that doesn't mean anything. So I've expanded my search area Orrville, Ohio to Bay City, Michigan Kelly's Marine Sales ay Bay Harbor Marine. Looking at a 1997 300 Da. one owner boat serviced by Bay Harbor Marine.Admiral really likes the cabin layout and upholster of the 1997 and later models.Going to take a look next Friday. I started to look at a boat in Pittsburgh Pa. that was a stern drv. then the admiral reeled me back in and told me not to compromise on the drives. Patience is not my strong suit good thing one of us has some common sense. This is one of the first times we are looking at a boat that doesn't have known problems that I'm willing to fix just to get a cheaper price.

Good luck!
