I think I posted this in the wrong section..here it goes..
It here anything that can be done with the picture posting process?? When I add a picture to a post it shows a [?] in my file. I can name it to kinda know what it looks like, but doesn't show the picture. How come the pictures don't show up in my files? This gets very difficult when I want to post a pic direct from my files. Also when I post multiple pics in one thread they are never in the order I attached them. When I go to advanced options to change them around I cant see the pic to even move it around. Can anything be done about this? I am a forum supporting member.

The way I do it is: I click on the "inset image" icon, select "from computer", then select file, then "upload file" and if you want to see it, then click on "go advance" and click on preview... you will see it there. If you want to post more pictures, go back to your post and repeat the same procedure but just click "Enter" a couple of times to leave some space between photos....

I hope this helps!!

Heck, my problem is with uploading is that my files are too large? By like 47kb? Dear Lord, how small does the file need to be?

I only tried it since I saw this post, besides that, I've given up on trying to upload pics, what a pain in the a$$!!!

The limit on individual photo size (and total size of all photo files posted by one member) is extremely low unless you subscribe. If you prefer not to subscribe, use a free hosting site such as Photobucket, etc. and use links in your CSR posts.

Yes , but try to post a picture from your file to this post. Go to Reply, Go to advanced, Click on manage attachments, an all my attachments come up as ?????. They are there, but cant see them. Say you already downloaded a pic to your file, how do you know what is what?

There's a picture here.....

I have never seen this before, but I can see that your picture was inserted correctly.

I am far from the one to be giving advice on computers/systems, but here are a couple of tips that work for me:

Enlarge the folder window.....the one you posted only has enough room to display one row of photos.

Save the photos you want o post online under an English file name so you have some idea what the photo is. With the file names you are using.....i suspect is a default number assigned by your camera........you have to see the photo itself or you have no idea what you are posting. While you might have 5 pix names canvas1, canvas2, canvas3......etc. When you drag them to the box below, they seem to display faster than in the folder box above. Finally, you can put all the "canvas" photos inline and then click preview. From the preview screen it is easy to see the pix and delete those you don't want in t he post you are working on.

Or, as I said before, try posting it via photobucket (external picture storage site).

Here's an example of one of my model airplanes
