I own a 2005 320 Sundancer.
I Need to or perhaps better yet, replace the refrigerator in the cabin. It came with a norcold de0051. The fridge started acting up last season and isn't working now as I'm starting the new season.
My wife would like a larger capacity fridge, but I'm not sure what the maximum size unit would be for the boat?

I purchased a set of 4 blade ACME props from Ray at Atlantis Propeller 2 years ago. My original 3 blade OEM props were 18x18.5 x 3.55 cupped rh and 18x 19 x 3.55 cupped LH. I used to get 24.8 knots at 3950 RPMs I can't find the specs on the new props but I do remember that they are 17" not 18". With a clean bottom and and full fuel, I am now getting 24 knots at 4,000 RPMs burning 30.5 gallons per hour. I am probably giving up some top end speed with the 4 blades, but the smoothness of them at at any RPM is amazing. Absolutely vibration free. With the 3 blades (fully tuned) I would get some vibration when getting on plane. Not sure why Boat Test had a boat with 17x21.3 props, and searay shipped 18x18.5 but my guess is the boat performed better with limited weight with those props for the test and would be over propped in a real life example (ie, generator, full fuel, etc.)
Would anyone know what the norcold model number for the cockpit fridge is? I need to try and find a replacement upper vent cover because mine is cracked in multiple spots. I have the Sea Ray part # 1747061 for the fridge but have been unsuccessful in locating the norcold part number. I am unable to get to the boat till this weekend and would like to get it ordered if at all possible asap. Thanks
I believe the cockpit Norcold is model DE0040.
Hi Greg:
I replaced my Notcold DE0051 two summers ago with a Vitrifrigo Model C62. It fit right in with no adjustments and it has a little more room. It has a full across freezer unit and the little bit of extra room is gained by the refrigerator box being square unlike the Notcold which has the one back corner angled to house the mechanical parts on the outside of the fridge. Vitrifrigo puts all their parts on the top and it does not interfere with installation. It also has an interior light which the Notcold did not have. Finally the Vit is so quiet I was initially unsure if it was even running. The captain loves it, and if she's happy I'm happy.

Hey Bill...any suggestions for a replacement for the cockpit fridge?
I just ordered a new Dometic CRX-65 from BoatandRVAccessories.com for $675 shipped!!
This is like $400 under MSRP! It arrives tomorrow, so hopefully nothing is amiss. The amazing part is that you can use it as Fridge, Fridge/Freezer OR Freezer (which is what I need). They make different sizes.

Are you replacing the cockpit or cabin refrigerator??
I recently purchased a 2006 320, 350 Horizon's V-drives 115 hours. I've had it in the water for a few weeks now and had it out a few times, the problem I'm having is that port engine is having problems getting above 3800 rpm at times. I have had/known of this issue sense the second time I've had the boat out but I wrote it off to being almost full of fuel and water and it being windy and 2 footers. I took the boat out for a 40 mile round trip today, 1/2 tank of fuel, half of the ride was heading up a river with a good current and dead into the wind, strbrd engine at full throttle would rev all the way up to 4700, port would only rev up to 3600. On the way back, with the wind at my back and going with the current I could only get 3600-3700 rpm for appox 5 minutes and then it slowly climbed up to 4100 with the throttle all the way, strbrd was at half throttle at 3900 but will go all the way to 4800 if throttle is advanced.
I replaced all fuel filters, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, new bottom paint, props were checked and balanced before the boat went in, no codes with scan tool, no beeps, no gaurdian mode, throttle opens all the way, runs good, no misfires... I have seen this engine go to 4800, just wondering if anyone knows where I should look next... Thanks
Isn't that an electronic ignition? My 05 was electronic.
Are the props original 3 blade? Were they scanned/balanced recently? Any vibration at any rpm?
Did you sea trial as part of a survey? Achieving rated rpm is normally a key survey checklist item. Check the specs, but I think you're supposed to hit 4800-5000 at wot.
