You must understand something... boats do not have "repair manuals" available on a store shelf like those you see for automobiles. Sea Ray does not make engines or transmissions or outdrives. So you cannot expect to find a published manual that covers every conceivable powertrain that was ever fitted in every boat produced. That does not exist. However, there are service manuals available from the manufacturers of the sub systems on your particular vessel. For example, Mercury Marine has technical service manuals (for their authorized technicians) that show in great detail, every step you must take to successfully repair an Alpha One outdrive. The same goes for the different engines they have marinized over the last 50 years. So do a search for Mercruiser Service Manuals as a start, and you will be making progress. Every other system on the boat will have had an owners manual (user manual) or perhaps an equipment installer's outline to follow when the boat was first fitted, but those documents are usually lost to the wind. If you are a do-it-yourselfer, you will just have to learn to use the forums and search results from the internet to find direction on how to R&R your boat mechanicals, electronics, hydraulics and plumbing.
