Yes, we would like to attend assuming that Cheryl is back in normal footwear by then. But we'll probably simply Tim our way down that way. Cheryl isn't interested in 20 hours on the boat for a weekend.

Will Baltimore host a riot for us during the event? I've never seen one live.
If they do I may take a mooring out side of molotov throwing range.

Sounds like there is enough interest to pursue. I am on a trip to the Carolinas. When I get back, I'll put some dates out there and the we can let the haggling begin.

Hmmmm, no.

There may be some Scotch tasting and some cigar sampling. I might be able to dig up some other adult activities.

The Bike tours and soccer games almost scared me off. However Scotch and Cigar sampling I'm up for. I'll have to step down from my bourbon but I'll just suffer.

October 8 - 11 is the US Sailboat Show in Annapolis and October 15 - 18 is the US Powerboat show. Might conflict.

Hmm bourbon. I like the sound of that.

Another date 10/3 is Fell's Point fun fest 3 day min and many if not all the marinas are booked full well in advance.

Perhaps late September?

Sent from my AT&T LG3

Late September is pretty quick to pull it all together.

I am not seeing any additional interest other than the 14 of us.

I'm leaning more to the spring. With no real holidays left for the season its a bit of a haul for us river rats for a weekend. Thoughts?

I normally would stay two nights but won't be able to once the kids go back to school. Baltimore isn't too far to run for one night though I guess.

My wife and kids stop boating mid October so I'd vote for late September/early October or wait until Spring.

Having organized one of these and enjoyed it, first let me say thanks for taking it on. I have wanted to organize again, but just haven't had the time to do it myself.

My first vote would be for spring 2016 for planning purposes. The bay can get a little nasty in the late fall when the wind kicks up, so if that's the decision, I'd probably come by land. Could also offer to ride by boat with someone who needs a hand, and then stay on shore. Definitely interested in any options or to help organize if the event moves more to mid bay somewhere.

Again... BZ to you Mistercomputerman!

I am thinking Spring 2016 also. The time is short for the Fall and there appear to be other functions in the area about the same time.

There is a possibility of more of these types of events if we can dial in what works and what will attract folks. We may have some Vendor booths/tables, sort of like a trade show, to help defray the costs. We might invite the local SR dealers to bring a boat or two.

We'll let the thread run for a bit longer and make the call about 2015 or 2016.

I'll have my people call your people...

I work near Baltimore, not by choice... As a "Jersey Boy" if I was not working in MD I would come... Only because of my forced move, my disdain for the lovely socialist state of MD can not be expressed accurately words. If you are in the harbor on Friday, I would drive down to say hi...

OK, I am going to make it official.

No Fall Rendezvous in Baltimore. I will open another thread for:

Chesapeake Bay - 2016

My goal is to duplicate the success we have had in Atlantic City while holding this type of event in a different area to expose different folks to it.

The purpose is to have a family-friendly meet and greet, for a long weekend, without a lot of scheduled activities. A gathering of like-minded, Sea Ray enthusiasts, no matter the size of your vessel.

Let me think about the format of the event and I'll put my ideas in the new thread.
