Table Rock Lake

How late do you guys wait to winterize your boats?
Thanks
David

Was going to winterize Saturday....Just looked at the weather and it is supposed to be sunny and 80. So, I think I'll be on the water Saturday and winterize Sunday. Anyone else going out?

Yes...we will be out....later saturday afternoon and on Sunday. I think we may go to buzzard bar on sunday afternoon to enjoy some nachos and watch some football...and enjoy the weather.

My son plays football, and has his last game this Saturday. I decided I was pushing my luck to wait, and did the winterization this last Monday. Wish I could have waited, but was scared to, since deer season (youth) will start the next weekend. I guess I am too busy with other stuff to use the boat much in the fall.

Amazing weather this weekend. Ran around Saturday burning gas. Saw a dock that broke free floating around at point 2. Anchored out and listened to the Mizzou game in the afternoon. Looked for you, Jeff, but didn't see any 360s on Saturday afternoon. Sunday, I put the ez stor ez start in the fuel tank and ran around the lake getting it through the fuel system. Pulled the boat and winterized everything. Hooked up the jet ski and drug it home, so my season is officially over.

There was an amazing fog bank on the northern part of the lake Sunday morning, looked eerie. I took some good pics, I'll post some when I get a chance.

We actually didn't get out until about 6 Saturday night. Sunday afternoon we had a nice cruise down to big cedar. It was a great weekend for late October. The pork nachos at buzzard bar are awesome!

Jeff...It is a stabilizer and fogging solution combined. I had enough left over from last year to winterize this year. I couldn't find it under that name this year. Sta-bil now sell a product called 360 that looks exactly the same, but now they recommend it for every fill up - seems like a new marketing approach.

We've never tried the nachos, but that picture is enough to ensure that we will next time we're there.

I didn't look out of our condo until about 8:00 on Sunday, but the fog had lifted by then on our end of the lake. Looked like soup to the north.

Hello? Anyone still around? Soggy Memorial day weekend (which almost seems normal). We were around and got out on Saturday afternoon and on Monday.

I follow this thread, and am glad you have made it out. We have spent a day getting our boat cleaned up, but have not made to the water yet. Maybe this coming weekend.

Made a run down to the lake to bring our jet ski down. Got the boat out for the first time this year on Sunday because of the last of my youngest son's club soccer career. Bitter sweet. Best part is he will be playing for Drury in the fall so we will be down a lot in September and October, which are my favorite months on the lake.

On the boat side: Our #1 battery is starting it's 3rd season by not taking a charge and our depth finder quit working over the winter. I love how stuff breaks when you aren't using it....

Tim...is your other one still at MSU? My oldest daughter went for Drury for 2 years before tranferring to Mizzou.
