So I'd like to understand my expected fuel consumption a bit better. I've searched the web and found this video (Different engine I know) and he says something at the 2:30 mark that makes no sense. He says "Our best cruising speed was 30.3 MPH while turning 3500 RPM. At this pace we burned 24.2 gallons per hour for a range of 147 miles"

The boat has a 50 gallon tank and I'm terrible at math but I can still tell you this makes no sense. You'd have a range of 60 miles on 50 gallons with this burn rate. I'm guessing my boat burns less than 24.2 gallons an hour at ideal cruising speed.
I've found no reviews of my specific boat to understand what my ideal cruising speed would be and what my expected range will be. Does anyone have any good info for me?
Thanks.
