I've seen this happne on other forums...must be using same software. I'm looking at a old thread:

http://clubsearay.com/showthread.php/12954-1989-340-EC-owners?highlight=340 owners

I'm on the first page and it has thread #677 at the top and I go to the last page it has #7 at top!! Everything is backwards. My settings are default and display mode is linear.

Was this due to a migration of old thread from older software?

I'm also trying to upload a small JPG image (screenshot this is thread) of my settings but a red circle comes up after the attempting upload. No info...no error and no reason.

Any ideas

If you can tell me where...I'd appreciate it as I don't see it!

Since this system doesn't allow attachments over 50K (ridiculous small!) see this link for a screenshot of the General Settings: http://www.screencast.com/t/bnojAlQ9

Thanks for your help.
Shawn

It's right there in your picture that you linked....

Maybe you're not saving settings?

If you sponsor the site, you get plenty of space for pictures.

Yep, what he said.
you can also link photos if you want to store them someplace else and let them pay for the storage.

I cannot argue with that logic for sure...but webstorage is so cheap now for smaller images. We are not talking about allowing 10mb photos though...just a good 200-300K would be helpful. Basically stuff generated from small cameras, screenshot programs, etc. Otherwise an auto resizing script can be useful. We had todo that in the olds days on a Saab forum I participated in.

When you use outside links to photo buckets, flicker, etc the people eventually take all "how to" things down and the thread as has MIA links, boo!

Again it's about adding value to your forum to make the best place for all users to go...I do see the revenue is from members as apposed to advertisers so I get it! It's a very solid site for sure. One of the better ones I've seen put together for any topics. Been running Tiaras for years and cannot find one good Tiara forum...and they are about as popular where i boat as Sea Rays.

Thanks again!
