I am trying to figure out what the new 510 is really. It sure doesn't seem like a Sea Ray. I was seriously underwhelmed by it.

I know - just my opinion but I am starting to think Sea Ray has lost its way.

So, we are at the show, shopping hard. We are changing boats.

Move will be to 48-54 range. Was on the 510 today. I understand what you are saying. I love the Sea Ray quality. I know there is a good dependable base there in the product -- but... It is just not great of a layout.

Maybe it works for others.

Went to look at the L line - but was too much of a line into the inside area, the girls told us we would have to wait a while. hmmm.

Have to say, kinda losing some Sea Ray love here. What is happening, I am a guy who is ready and wants to drop several hundred K for my next boat. I am as rabib of a supporter of the brand based on my personal experience.

I walked into the display - kinda felt out of place. No one even said HI. Sea Ray seems to be kinda wandering in the forest at this point..

To expand further - the failure of Sea Ray. The Sea Ray brand owns "Me". Feed me, take care of me - you have me for life.

Here I am at a few years over 50, have the financial ability to do what I want.

SeaRay not connecting with me - the buyer. Sea Ray is building boats that are not connecting.

You should look at a 2006-2013 52DB.. Great boat... update from my 480 DB and I think it's one of the best boats they ever did. Have no idea why they took it out behind the barn and shot it.

Well I need to give a shout out to Matt for giving me the free tickets to the show which we greatly appreciated. I have to say that I to did not connect well with the new SR 510 or L650 as they just don't appeal to me. I will call it the euro style or latin styling for not really knowing whom they are appealing to now but it is not me. The 480/500/52/56/58 SB have it all over the newer models IMHO. Sorry SR but gotta tell you how I feel. Maybe in 8-10 years it might appeal to me more as some other new models of vehicles have over the years but by then I'll be out of the market.

Again Matt many thanks for the tickets and hope to see ya on the water,

No pictures or I call BS as you are still in CA.

Most of the pictures are on my SD card in my camera but here are a few iPhone crappy shots.

I can see the prestige exhibit in the background of a few photos of the 650,has anyone wandered over there? If you run into John Sima tell him Glen Ledingham said hi,he was the broker for my new to me 370 in ohio and just picked up the prestige line in northern usa.I am just curious how well the europeans stack up,these have been around for 20+ years over there.

Is there an option on the foredeck to install a hot tub instead of the seating area?

Nice...

A few nice yachts from our room view.

I was at the Seattle boat show. I've been a Sea Ray lifer, but do have to echo much of what I've heard here lately. The new styling does not sit very well. I have seen some very nice and innovative features, don't get me wrong, but the overall look steps far away, IMO, from what Sea Ray's classic look has been. There's a missing link in the evolution of what Sea Ray should look like. I hope they hear us and get back to what I consider the Sea Ray look.
