I know its the middle of winter, however not too soon to start thinking about summer events. The Blue Angels will be part of the Bethpage air show this coming memorial day weekend... May 24th & May 25th. Lets start the planning for a raft up in Zachs Bay!!
 
Will try to day trip this year one of the days.
 
Now that would be a great show!

My calendar is empty those days, so I plan on it. Besides, if I bring the slushy machine we may have to. :)
 
So when do you guys plan on arriving? I've never taken the boat but I am seriously considering it this year. Are you planning on rafting overnight?
 
We usually raft sat/Sunday It would be nice for you to show up one year!!!

That's it Joe, I'm not selling you my boat at a fantastic price. Would I have to arrive Friday night for a good anchoring location or is early Saturday morning fine?
 
I believe Brian , most of us arrived sat morning although Ron always goes on Friday and the best spots are gone already.we usually do fine every year.

Weather permitting, Its Friday night for us...Air Show is from 10 - 3 Sat and Sun; the bay does get crowded, but if you get there early there isn't an issue.
The last remaining Bee Gee is playing at Jones Beach theater Friday night, so if the wind is out of the west, there will be an extra treat... Barry Gibb concert for all to hear..........
