Have you ever checked the AP settings for the speed input. Excessive yaw usually comes from the AP's rudder input not being proportional to speed. Selecting manual speed input or SOG input usually nets excessive correction since the maunal speed is never exactly right and SOG usually lags actual speed......try to select an input based on the speed wheel if it is available with the type Ramarine AP you have.
