having been through a close tornado last tuesday I thought it might be cool to see
some storm pictures ...BTW the tornado never touched the marina area.
Post your best.

This was a cool gust front a few weeks ago. 60+ winds in a matter of seconds.

Munising Bay / Lake Superior 2 days ago looking East from near our house. Stopped cutting the lawn to walk down and take a picture.

Jim, that shine on your bow is sick!!!

I took this one on our recent 9-day trip from Seattle down to Stockton, CA. We were running in about 5'-8' swells with a 1'-2' chop on top.

Here's a short video I took last summer when we were taking the boat downstream to Portland, OR for the Blues Festival. We were running on plane in about a 4'-5' chop.

This was from a couple years ago in MI. It was perfectly clear and sunny 15min before this. There was a super-creepy fog that rolled in out of no where, which you can see at the tree line. It then got pitch black and stormed like crazy for a little bit, before the sun came out again.

This was from a few months ago here in FL. Doesn't look all that impressive until you realize it was 9:45pm and dark; the sun was completely set. What you see is a series of lightening bolts that, with my iPhone, showed up as a glow in the sky making it look like daylight. It was pretty cool.

Not really a storm, but this was the northern edge of the storm that had been Hurricane Isaac a year ago. The edge of this storm basically stayed in this position for the weekend. South of Ludington was cloudy. North of the harbor remained cloud free.

This storm chased us out of an anchorage while on a friends boat in Middle River / Baltimore in late July. We were glad we got underway before it started dumping.
