That was my last project. It's great for those crowded anchorages or those sailboats that won't wave to me as I pass them.

Actually, that is a rocket launch controller I made to launch model rockets.

Guys, I am about 99% sure we will not make it there on Sunday as planned based on the forecast - coupled with my mother-in-law's continued hospitalization.

With the gusty winds, I really don't want to get beat up schlepping there in my "pocket cruiser" (the majority of you guys have more boat surrounding you than me LOL).

Well,

It doesn't look like anything is improving as of now. So, since Sat is a bust it doesn't make any sense for me to travel such distance for pretty much one day. Mon is going home and kids get ready for school day anyway. So, I'm officially out.

Everybody stay home. Im in a house facing north and holy crap its blowing. I had the boat tied to the bulkhead facing from west to east. Pining the boat agenst the pilings. Poping 3 22inch fenders on each piling and destroyed my rub rail and topside glass. I pulled the boat out and stole somebodys slip next door. Hope they don't come out for the weekend. Well anyway its real real nasty out and for being out in it I wont yave a boat the next couple weeks to fix this crap. This sucks. Im gunna go get bombed for the rest of the weekend hope all yours is better than mine....

Ya know what. I really think your right. After the repairs the ceremony will be held. Bad luck is just following me everywere . Im actually starting to second guees my abilities to own and run this boat..... I keep screwing up
 
you did nothing wrong, i was with you when you ran her , your good! its bad luck! the winds where blowing hard today.believe me we have all done some damage to our boats " learning curve" this is not one of those situations. chaulk it up as boat ownership!!!!
 
FWIW - They just cancelled the airshow for today = Saturday
